Thomas P. Britcher, 56, of Vero Beach, died July 24, 2009, in Vero Beach. He was born in Schenectady, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 1979.

He was a fleet mechanic for St. Lucie County and a veteran of the Marines. Survivors include his wife of four years, Linda Britcher; sons, Dustin Britcher, of Schenectady, and Matthew Britcher, of Fort Pierce; stepdaughter, Jaime Seawood, of Tatamy, Pa.; mother, Betty Britcher, of Fort Pierce; brother, Michael Britcher, of Fort Pierce; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. July 31 at Haisley Funeral Home, with a family service to follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. A guest book may be signed at
