FELLSMERE — Indian River County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a woman with a heart condition whom they believe may be lost in a heavily wooded area around 109th Street and Park Lateral roads, according to a Sheriff's Office dispatcher.

The woman's husband called the Indian River County Sheriff's Office at 5:30 p.m. to say his wife, Jennifer Flanagan was missing. The woman's car was located but as of 10:15 p.m. — nearly five hours after the alert was sent out -- she has yet to be found.

Deputies have been scouring the northwest area of Fellsmere, which is in the county, with the department's K-9 team as well as helicopter patrol.

Flanagan is 32-years-old and considered to be severely diabetic.

Anyone with information on Flanagan's whereabouts is urged to call the 911.
